I never had a headboard growing up and clearly they’re not essential to good sleeping, but over the past couple of years I’ve become kinda/sorta/totally obsessed with getting one. For awhile I thought I might try to make one, but I’ll be honest with you: I don’t have a creative bone in my body. It was a noble thought but with my lack of creative skillz it’ll never be anything more than a dream. This Nailhead Upholstered Headboard from West Elm is pretty darn perfect, and exactly what I would design if I had the know-how. The nailhead trim is to die for, but even better is the fact that this headboard comes in many different colors, patterns, and fabric types, meaning you can easily adjust it to your own bedroom decor. My color/fabric of choice is the Cotton Basketweave in Slate.

I am in the market for a new big handbag, and this beautiful brown slouchy leather gem by Kooba fits the bill perfectly. Isn’t it gorgeous? I think there’s something very West Coast chic about it. Or maybe it’s just wishful thinking? Because I’d really like to be out on the West Coast right now …

Truth: I picked up this Boscia Luminizing Black Mask from Sephora late last week, through I haven’t had a chance to try it out. I’ve only read good things about this mask on the internet, and when I stopped into Sephora last week one of the sales ladies was raving about the product. This mask is ONLY available at Sephora, and she told me that they were sold out of it for weeks on end when it was first released. I’m not normally a mask person but the reason I was drawn to this one is because it’s a peel-off mask. The teenager in me has always been a fan of peel-off masks, so I can’t wait to give this one a twirl.

I realize I am a bit late on the bandwagon for this trend, but I am starting to really love CLOGS. I know – crazy, right? But I think that, paired with some skinny jeans and a flowy top, these Frye Natasha Clogs
would be perfect for spring.

I am on the prowl for a new pair of shoes to wear this Spring/Summer to all of the weddings the boyfriend and I will be attending. It should come as no surprise to you that one of my favorite pairs I’ve come across is this Kate Spade Elate. Perfect name because I was elated when I found them. The toe candy is adorable, and the heel is perfect – it gives you a little bit of extra height but your feet won’t hurt the minute you put them on. Elate is the updated summery version of my previous fave, Bloom.

I take back every last thing I have ever said that I needed in the past. You can have all of it. What I REALLY need is this Mark & James by Badgley Mischka Strapless Sequin Dress that was recently worn by Taylor Swift. I cannot imagine a more perfect LBD because every detail on this dress is amazing from the sweetheart top to the sequins to the flared skirt. Take a close look at the neckline and you’ll see that there’s quite a bit more detail than you might expect. Like I said, this dress is perfect. I must make it mine when it becomes available in June. {Right now it’s only available as a pre-order.}

I don’t really envision a day when Chloé ever fits into my budget, but if I was a millionaire I’d be rushing right out and purchasing these Chloé Triple-Strap Ballet Flats. Never again will I look at shoes with one strap – three straps of soft brown Italian leather is where it’s at.

My boyfriend has been around for a couple of years now, but long before he came into the picture my Valentine’s Day each year included a date with my couch and Sweet Home Alabama
. Laugh if you want, but this is the movie I have seen more than any other. The jokes always make me laugh. The guys are perfect. Reese looks perfect and makes me wish I had an adorable Southern accent.
And this Valentine’s Day? Yep. Me, the boyfriend, the couch, Reece, Josh, Patrick, and the rest of the gang.
Happy Valentine’s Day Everyone!

It only seems fitting that I tell you all on Valentine’s Day that I am really digging this season’s red pants trend. I jumped on the band wagon the last time red pants were all the rage AND the time before that. It only seems fitting that I would jump on board again this time around, right? The details on these Casual Red Pants from LOVE MOSCHINO are fab – love that they’re cropped with those fab gold buttons. I wouldn’t necessarily think to mix red and gold, but I’m digging it here!

I just cannot get enough of rings with bows and knots. I hope this is one trend that sticks around for awhile… at least long enough for me to add a dozen or so to my “collection.” {“Collection” in quotations because it sounds so dang pretentious. Plus, can you really count three rings that came out of a vending machine as a “collection”?}
This Amelia CZ Love Knot Ring from emitations is the latest object of my affections because it has the requisite knot, but adds a little bit of CZ bling. Love!
