Breville Risotto Plus from Williams-Sonoma

Breville Risotto Plus I feel like this “covet” is going to make me look old and NEVER did I imagine the day when I would covet a risotto maker. Yet, here I am.

I stopped at Williams-Sonoma today on my lunch break and was stopped in my tracks when I came upon the fabulous machine you see above, the Breville Risotto Plus. While I have been on a bit of a risotto kick lately, I actually fell in love with this machine because of all of its other capabilities. It’s functions, aside from making risotto, include steaming, sauteing, making rice, AND a high and low slow cooker setting!

If you know me, you know that I despise cooking. Most of the meals that I prepare involve using the crockpot, because I love just throwing ingredients in the pot and then not thinking about them again before it’s time to eat. This machine, that does a little bit of everything, just may be the answer to my lazy cooker dreams.

Chalkboard Spice Jars from Anthropologie

Chalkboard Spice Jars

While I KNOW the jars above would probably be a fairly easy DIY project, that’s not really my modus operandi. There’s never been something I’ve seen that inspired me to think “I should TOTES do that myself!” Cute storage jars with chalkboard labels affixed included.

I’m picking up my Chalkboard Spice Jars from Anthropologie for $10 a pop. Definitely more expensive than a DIY project, but then again, this is Anthro we’re talking about. I’m surprised they’re not charging $35+tax. Per jar.

Red Envelope Whiskey Lover’s Set

For the man in your life … or you, if you like whiskey!  I really don’t, but I would love to have this for my husband.  The Whiskey Lover’s Set includes ROCKS.  Real rocks.  They are soapstone cubes that you chill in the freezer, and then they keep your whiskey (or your drink of choice) without watering it down.  How neat is that?!  Pretty darn neat, if I do say so myself.  I will definitely be surprising my husband with this special gift for his birthday this year!

To Purchase:  Red Envelope; Cost:  $59.95
