My friend Casey recently bought a condo here in Chicago and has been having fun decorating and purchasing furniture. One of her first purchases was this gorgeous Wood Table with Stainless Steel Top ($599 on sale) from West Elm.
I am now officially obsessed with it and wishing I was anywhere close to purchasing my own house so I could splurge on a table like this. As Casey pointed out, the stainless steel top means its not susceptible to the knicks and dings that might afflict a wood table, and it wipes clean quite easily.
Whenever my husband and I become real grown ups and get a house that has a guest bedroom I am going to invest in the frilliest and prettiest comforter I can find, much like this Paloma Comforter Set that’s on sale now at Joss & Main.
I would LOVE to have this in my own bedroom, but we spoil our two dogs and let them sleep with us and all that lace doesn’t exactly look dog friendly.
But still – it’s so pretty. I want it!
The four piece Paloma Comforter Set is on sale for $91.95 at Joss & Main, down from it’s normal price of about $250.
This vintage black and white chevron chair appearing in this space doesn’t need an explanation. I don’t even need to know how much it costs. (Ha.)
All I know is that my living room needs this chair.
These three baby animal prints from The Animal Print Shop will soon be hanging on my wall. By “soon” I mean “whenever I get around to ordering them.” While I love these prints for an adult room now, I think they could also easily transition into nursery prints should the husband and I ever get around to having a little one.
While I’m particularly partial to the oh-so-stylishly printed white tiger, zebra, and giraffe, there are tons of animal prints available at The Animal Print Shop and I would be happy with any of the prints on my wall!
This Climbing Cubs print is also a favorite of mine. Could those cubs be any cuter?

There’s a Kate Spade bedding sale taking place today at Gilt, and oh how I long for this Kate Spade Piedmont Park Duvet Cover. It’s so gorgeous and feminine! The scalloping is absolute perfection. Actually, the entire room is perfection.
The duvet cover is only available in a King and costs $210 at Gilt.
