Pink Polka Dot Play Canopy from The Land of Nod

Kids Canopy: Pink Polka Dot Play Circus Tent - Pink Polka Dot Play Canopy

Sometimes I see things that desperately make me wish I could go back in time, or wish I had a little one of my own. When I spotted this Pink Polka Dot Play Canopy at The Land of Nod I desperately wished for either of those options to be true. (Although, perhaps the latter would be better because then I, too, could play in it. You’re never too old for fun!)

I don’t think this Pink Polka Dot Play Canopy needs much by way of introduction or reasoning. It’s inspiring my imagination and I’m nowhere near its intended age demographic. (Other colors/patterns are available if pink polka dots aren’t your thing.)

The Land of Nod • $149 for the canopy, $69 for the floor cushion

Smart Baby Monitor from Withings

Smart Baby Monitor

Now I don’t have children and the number of babies I know can be counted on one hand, so you’ll have to forgive me if I sound terribly naive here, but when I saw this Smart Baby Monitor from Withings I immediately thought “I have to have that (if I ever have children of my own).” It’s so cool that I asked my husband if we could get one so we could watch and communicate with our dogs during the day. (Does that make me a crazy dog person??)

This Smart Baby Monitor works with your iPhone or Android. If baby starts crying, you can attempt to soothe them over the phone, regardless of your location. You could be across the country and watching and talking to your baby via the monitor. If talking isn’t enough, you can activate one of 7 lullabies to play. You can turn on a soft glow. You can monitor the temperature and humidity in the baby’s room. The monitor has an infrared camera, so when the lights go off you can still watch your baby. Even if you close the app it continues running in the background so you can hear if the baby starts stirring.

I suppose the only thing the Smart Baby Monitor doesn’t do is change the baby’s diapers in the middle of the night.

Pink Fancy Box

Pink Fancy Box

I know, I know – this is a little bit of cross-over from my post about the Pink Fancy Box over at FF, but this box deserves its own post here as well. I am THAT excited.

The Pink Fancy Box costs $39 and will contain $80+ worth of products that have been chosen by Pink. I don’t know when the box will arrive, but that’s going to be a fantastic mail day. Here’s hoping Pink chooses some awesome items.

Juicy Couture Metallic Gold Loafers

Juicy Couture Metallic Gold Loafer for Baby

If I had a child, there’s no doubt they’d be sporting these Juicy Couture Metallic Gold Loafers. Hello, cuteness!

I’ve got a thing about splurging on designer shoes for littles that can’t yet walk, but the price on these is just right at the moment. Originally $58, they’re now on sale for $49.99. Through January 30, 2013 they are marked down an EXTRA 50%, making them just $25. Fab deal. Fab shoes.

Rebecca Minkoff Cassette Tape iPhone Case

Rebecca Minkoff iPhone Case

My childhood is calling and reminding me of my obsession with making mixtapes. All of my tapes included the same songs from Tiffany that I’d dance around to in my room for hours on end. I might have to keep the 80′s dance party going with this Rebecca Minkoff Cassette Tape iPhone Case.  It’s not the same, but then again it’s definitely more convenient than carrying around a Walkman or boombox!
