Pacifica Purify Coconut Water Cleansing Wipes

I’m obsessed with consuming all things coconut at the moment, but I’d never considered/heard of coconut cleansing wipes! These Pacifica Purify Coconut Water Cleansing Wipes are something I must try ASAP. At just $5.99 per 30 at Target, they’re certainly not going to break the bank.

The reviews are raving about the fresh coconut scent.

These have been added to the list for my next Target shopping trip.

Clinique CC Cream

Clinique CC Cream

I went into ULTA the other day to see if they had any CC Cream yet. The poor saleslady I asked was so confused. “CC Cream?” she said “We’re just getting that BB cream!”

Alas, the latest beauty cream has yet made its way into my hands.

You may be asking “How are BB and CC creams different,” if you’re anything like me.

To start off with, whereas BB stands for beauty balm, CC stands for color corrector. According to FutureDerm, CC cream has a brightening primer and BB cream just has a primer. Hence the color corrector. BB creams also come packed with moisturizers to create a dewy finish, while CC creams are lighter and oil free (and allegedly better for acne-prone skin). CC creams are already quite popular in Asia, although they’re just now hitting the United States.

Do I need this latest product? I’m honestly not sure this is something I need, as BB cream works fine on my face.

Do I want it? Absolutely.

I’ll start with the Clinique CC Cream, although it’s still only available for pre-order. This cream will be available in 6 shades. According to the description:

One simple step for glowing skin: hydrates, perfects, protects. The lightweight formula instantly color-corrects a range of complexion concerns. In seconds, you look like the picture of health. It brightens dullness and sallowness and diminishes redness. That gray look on darker skin tones? CC gets it glowing. Oil-free hydration and sunscreen mean a more flawless look tomorrow, too.

Sounds pretty awesome, right?

NARS Satin Lip Pencil

NARS Satin Lip Pencil

Of all of the cosmetics brands on the market, NARS is the hardest for me to resist. The minimalist black packaging filled with vibrant high-quality cosmetics makes my heart skip a beat.

NARS just released the Satin Lip Pencil and I must get my hand on one, two, or many of these $25 lip pencils ASAP. The Satin Lip Pencil joins the Velvet Matte Lip Pencil and the Velvet Gloss Lip Pencil. Like the other pencils, the Satin Lip Pencil is supposedly very light on the mouth (one of my favorite features of NARS lip pencils is that once they’re on you can’t really tell it’s there – there’s no “heaviness” or stickiness), and it’s available in a jumbo pencil. Using this pencil will produce a satin finish (not surprising, based on the name!).

The formula includes pomegranate fruit extract and a complex of phospholipids, collagen prepeptides, hyaluronic acid and vitamin E; ingredients known to hydrate, protect and provide fuller looking lips. All of the Satin Lip Pencils were named after parks and gardens located around the world.

Liquid Shimmer Eyeliner from Jouer

Jouer Liquid Shimmer Eyeliner | Fantabulously Coveted

I am an eye liner fiend and tend to purchase it any time I find a new color or style or just whenever I have had a hard day.

The latest on my “must have list” is this Liquid Shimmer Eyeliner from Jouer, particularly in this gorgeous navy charcoal color. I love this as an option to add a bit of “oomph” to a smokey eye. It’s available in two additional colors as well, and with no traditional black or brown available it appears that it may be more of a highlighter, or special occasion liner than something you’d use on a daily basis.

I’ll let you know as soon as I break down and make this liquid shimmer eyeliner mine!

Oscar de la Renta Fall 2013 Nail Collection

Oscar de la Renta Fall 2013 Nail Polish

Straight off the runway is the Oscar de la Renta Fall 2013 Nail Collection! While we won’t be able to shop the fashions until fall (whether or not we can afford said fashions in the fall is another question entirely), we can get our hands on the gorgeous nail polish that was created for the show now.

The three colors, pictured above, are Covet, Dare, and Asphalt. Personally, I’m digging that asphalt color the most, but I always gravitate toward the darkest available color. I’m excited though – if these are the colors we’ll be seeing in the fall, I hope it means turquoise will be a strong accent color, much like mint is now.
