Sometimes I just get it into my head that there is a cosmetic item that I absolutely have to have immediately or I don’t know how I will survive. Right now I feel that way about LORAC’s Baked Eye Shadow Trio in Star Studded. I keep seeing it everywhere and every time I see it I want it just a little bit more. I love the color schema – it looks like it would help create one hell of a smokey eye.
Has anyone tried this? Is it as wonderful as it looks?

It should go without saying that we all need a little more cowbell in our lives, and this More Cowbell Tee is a good reminder of that. Cowbells make people happy.

I was just minding my own business and quietly lusting over all of the fab shoes at Zappos when one shoe jumped off the page at me. Literally. Kind of. At the very least it stopped me in my tracks and forced me to investigate further. Said intriguing shoe is the Kate Spade Bloom in Eggplant Suede you see above. There’s no denying I love shoes, and especially purple shoes. Throw Kate Spade into the mix and I’m sitting here in the middle of the night wondering if it’s too late to change my birthday requests.

Don’t get me wrong – I love my boyfriend dearly. We’ve been together nearly four years and I hope that we are always together. With that being said, sometimes it saddens me that couple-dom means that I will never be able to hang pink frilly frou frou Waterfall Ruffle Curtains in my own princess bedroom. I could certainly try, I suppose, but I’m really not sure they’d go over too well. Alas, I guess I’ll just wait until we’re bazillionaires and I have my own private sanctuary room to frill out to my heart’s content.

A few weeks ago I posted about one of my all-time most coveted items: the Boscobel Travel Bag in Beacon from Saltbox. I’m in love with the bright colors and fun patterns that make up all Saltbox products and have long been a fan.

Boscobel Travel Bag in Beacon
What’s not to love about the gorgeous bag above? It’s yellow. It has flowers on it. And it has a really kick-ass silvery handle that I adore. When I saw the bag at One Kings Lane I just knew I had to get it as the item that I would use for my very first Fantabulously Coveted Giveaway. I mean, how could I not, right? The bag arrived earlier this week, and let me tell you – it’s much larger and even more beautiful than I anticipated! When I ordered it I thought it was perhaps an overnight or weekend bag, but I’m certain that with some strategic packing you could easily fit a week’s worth of clothes and toiletries inside. When I was waiting to catch my plane back from BlogHer I actually saw someone carrying this exact bag. It’s so cute – I know the winner is going to love it.
But I didn’t want to stop with just the bag. There are too many travel accessories that one needs for a successful and stress-free trip, so I thought I’d throw in a couple of extras, thus ensuring a great travel experience:
Saltbox Boscobel Luggage Tag in Hudson
Saltbox Boscobel Travel Wallet in Hudson
All of the items above are still available on the Saltbox website {for full price} and if you were to buy them all you’d pay a total of $260! I’ve hosted a lot of giveaways on Fantabulously Frugal over the past year, but without a doubt this is the giveaway I most wish I could win. Seriously you guys – the bag is INCREDIBLE. {And so are the travel accessories, for that matter.}

I just came across this little fancy and couldn’t resist posting it here. I never thought it would happen but I am really loving gold jewelry at the moment. Where I used to think it was so dull and fuddy-duddy looking, now I think it’s a refreshing alternative to all of the silver and platinum. But – you still have to funkify it a bit, you know? This Graham Leather Super Studded in Gold does that perfectly by juxtaposing the rough-ish leather with the refined gold. Me likey!

I have been dying for a pair of red-soled Christian Louboutin’s for about as long as I can remember knowing anything about Christian Louboutin. Though I covet a lot of items, CLoub’s are at the very top of the list if for no other reason than their price puts them absolutely out of my league. {Oh yeah, and they’re beautiful.} If you read one of my other projects, The Thirty Project, which details a number of things I would like to accomplish before turning 31, then you would know that owning a pair of CLoub’s is on my list of things to accomplish. I put it on there as a very “wishful thinking” gesture, with the hope that I would be able to save enough money to splurge for a pair sometime during the next two years.
Everything changed yesterday when I returned from the Blogher Conference in NYC and learned via Twitter that I had won a $1,000 Ebay shopping spree from BillMeLater and Ebay Fashion! Crazy, right?! Things like this just don’t happen to me.
The first thing that I squealed to my very confused boyfriend? “I’m finally getting a pair of Christian Louboutin’s!” And they’ll be FREE to me!
I don’t want anything crazy. I want a beautiful pair of shoes that I can wear for years to come like the Simple Pumps above. I can’t decide if I’ll try to find them in some crazy color like pink, or if I’ll go with a more classic beige or black. I will, of course, let you all know what I decide soon!
Here’s to covetable dreams coming true!

Dear Boyfriend-
I know you’ve been asking me what I wanted for my birthday and I was waffling back and forth. Maybe I wanted an iPod. Or a new computer battery. Or hey, maybe just dinner out! But now I know what I want beyond a shadow of a doubt – this insanely chic and beautiful Yulia Tote. This faux-leather purse has some insane details, such as the gold hardware and the off-kilter buckle. The bag comes in four colors and you know me – I’m not picky. I’ll take any or all!
xoxo,
Me
To Purchase: Vieta; Cost: $104
Yellow and gray is perhaps my favorite color combination so I just about swooned when I came across this Floral-Print Cardigan at Old Navy. It’s perfect for the office and perfect for late summer as the nights begin to get a bit cooler. It’s available in three color combos, though this one is definitely my favorite!
To Purchase: Old Navy; Cost: $26.50
Unless the glue tastes like bacon, one of the tasks I dislike the most is sealing envelopes. The taste of that glue is just … blech. I always have on hand a glue stick or two, but this Coccoina Adhesive sounds one million times better than your traditional glue stick. First of all, it comes with a brush, which will make for a very neat application and means your tongue will never come anywhere close to licking another envelope. Second, it smells like almonds. Third, it comes from Italy.
To Purchase: See Jane Work; Cost: $8
